Onesie Wednesday PE
Rūma Kererū is learning about striking and fielding for PE now that swimming has ended. Tamariki were out in the sunshine participating to make progress.
Jax MacDonald stepped bravely into the unknown and hit the ball for a 6! Go Jax!!!
Jaxson is shown how to strike the ball while Lui is being a great backstop.
Here are our fielders! They ran fast and helped each other out when returning the ball to Lui back at the wickets.

What's in the 12th Pocket?
Last week we learned about ORDINAL numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). We then read a great book called Olwen Twelve Pockets by Fiona McKay and Kathryn Orton.
The book gives clues about what MIGHT be in Olwen's 12th pocket. Before we discovered the secret, we drew what we THOUGHT might be in that pocket.
Have a look at our great ideas - wouldn't YOU like a dragon in your pocket? Or maybe some fresh green grass? Pop in to class to discover more!

Mapping our School Environment
Last week, we made some maps of our school.
We then used counters to show how we feel about school.
- Green beans show somewhere we like to be.
- Red counters show somewhere we don't like to go.
- Wooden cubes show somewhere we feel safe.
- Yellow counters show somewhere we'd like to find out more about.
Click on the names to see our maps!
